Bad Hair Day

 

Bad Hair Day is Al's 9th studio album. This album is the best selling album to date. It was released in March, 1996. It features a parody of Coolio's "Gangsta's Paradise" into Al's version "Amish Paradise." There was a misscommunication between Coolio and Al. Al's record lable told him that Coolio gave his permission to do Amish Paradise. With that information, Al made the song and released it. Later, Al found out Coolio didn't want Al to do the parody. Al felt terrible, and wrote Coolio a letter to tell him how sorry he was. Al never heard back from Coolio. There are two music video's on this album, they are "Amish Paradise" and "Gump." This album went Platinum in the US and Canada. Bad Hair Day peaked at number 14 on the Billboard charts. Amish Paradise peaked at number 53, and Gump peaked at number 102 on the Billboard Charts.
