Poodle Hat

Poodle Hat is Al's latest album. It was released in May 2003. It features a Parody of Eminem's "Lose Yourself" into Al's version, "Couch Potato." Eminem gave his permission for Al to do a parody of Lose Yourself, but does not want Al to make Couch Potato a video, or even a single. This could mean that there will be no video for Poodle Hat. Poodle Hat also has parodies of "Hot In Herre"-Nelly, "Complicated"-Avril Lavigne, "Piano Man"-Billy Joel, "I Want It That Way"-The Backstreet Boys. It also has many originals. Al pays a tribute to Bob Dylan, and Frank Zappa. Al entered the Billboard Top Albums Chart at #17 with a bullet this is his highest chart debut ever without a video. Sometime between 1993 and 2003 there was a change at the Grammys which means the Comedy section was narrowed down to spoken Comedy. The Grammys have just changed it back to inclued music. With that said we are very proud to say that Poodle Hat HAS WON A GRAMMY FOR BEST COMEDY RECORD! Al won a Grammy for Poodle hat without a video or a single for it! Not to mention Al has been gone for the past 4 years, came back, and got a Grammy! Also, Al won this Grammy on February 8, 2004, Poodle Hat came out in May 2003. Poodle Hat hasn't even been out for a year yet, and has still won the Grammy! Congrats to Al and the Band! Here are the songs on this album:
